I am a Filipino Eastern Orthodox Christian author who aims to inspire and instruct others towards Jesus Christ through storytelling.

Everyone loves a good story. Stories can save us.

​

My story began in the Philippines where I grew up in the height of 90's anime and cartoons. Final Fantasy VII was my first immersive role-playing game (I jokingly refer to myself as an Ex-Protestant.) Two of my favorite songs as a child were "I Believe I Can Fly" and "Go the Distance" - the latter of which became our wedding song (my wife and I also love Japanese songs, but we have no idea what they're saying.)

I was eleven years old when I first stepped foot in US soil. The next twenty years after that would resemble my version of hell on earth, with sparks of Paradise now and again that slowly overcame the darkness.  

The light always shines in the dark. Good always triumphs over evil - even if it takes a while.

The purpose of this blog is simple: to spark a light in the hearts of readers.

Be the hero of your own story.

Stand up for yourself and discover your True North, then follow it. Follow the star that shines in the night.

Follow the light that leads you to Christ, the Hero of all heroes. And in the process, become all that you could be.

That's the journey we must all take. We are all fellow travelers.
